The York Emporium in York, Pa. is sponsoring its first writing contest. The deadline is September 15, 2008.
Any genre of writing can be submitted – poetry, one-act play, or short story of 5,000 “words/ communication units/symbols/thought implants/squeaks or less.” The creators of the contest evidently have a sense of humor because their press release reads:
