The Kenyon Review Hosts A Contest For Young Writers

Are you a high school senior? Sorry, but you don’t qualify. Sophomores and juniors, however, do.

The Kenyon Review is sponsoring a writing contest for young writers. Here are the rules:

* You must be a high school sophomore or junior to enter;
* only one poem per person may be submitted;
* poems created by groups are not accepted;
* poem must be in English;
* only unpublished work accepted.

I’m envious of young writers today. Contests and opportunities around every corner. Not that I’d won anything at that, but I don’t recall these opportunities being out there. If they were, I didn’t have access to them. Nevertheless, if you qualify by these rules, I highly recommend you apply and send in your submission to The Kenyon Review.
