"You're more than welcome Stacey"....

Thought I would help you out Alan, you seemed to have missed me somehow!!

Hasn't anyone ever told you that its rude and ignorant to ignore people....but then again I dont meet your criteria do I?

Next time I will not waste my time or energy in thanking you for the email.

You're a very arrogant man Alan.....but arrogance gets you nowhere.

Gary, I agree. It isn't a well put together list at all. And Paul makes a good point too. When such a list is compiled, there should be some statement as to how the compiler arrived at the conclusions. I scoffed at Silliman's place in the lineup too (as well as many others). But I also wonder if the list was intended to be ordered in a value-centric way or if was simply intended to be a compilation list of blogs about poetry. Since there is no explanation, we can only guess. :-)

I post at the Harriet blog now and then. As you pointed out, it is the Poetry Foundation blog. The Poetry Foundation produces the magazine 'Poetry' and the blog is named after Harriet Monroe, the founder of Poetry magazine.

To be unaware of this simple fact about blog number four out of 100 renders the entire thing suspect. And Silliman at 25 behind Ted Kooser, Patrick Martin and Paul Hoover? Please. That's just downright ridiculous. I think this is either another poetry spoof or somebody doesn't know what they're talking about.

One has to wonder at the criteria used to create this list. I looked for an explanation of how it was made but could not find one. A prompt site at number 9 but Silliman at 25. Hmmm,
