I agree very much with your comments regarding Owen and Sassoon--I would never place myself in their league, or their experience(s). I've only read this one poem of yours ("Carcass") and, added with your comments here, I have a few questions I'd like to ask you, if possible. I'm interested in seeing poems of yours which show, and don't tell so much--it's the type of poetry that I admire most (and I search it out wherever I can find it). I'm assuming that "Carcass" is of a different sort (and is not an example of this discussion). I'd like to correspond a bit by email, if possible.
