Hi Tim, glad you found it. I guess I should have e-mailed you to let you know when I wrote it. I figured you'd discover it on your own, which is why I didn't. But you didn't discover it as soon as I thought you would. :-)

At any rate, no, I didn't check out the Nurse issue. I guess I should have. On the dimensionality question, hmmm ..., I don't know that I'd say you are one-dimensional. With the way that verse is written today, it is difficult to be all things to all people. This isn't the 17th century and you can't boil everything down to Metaphysical vs. Cavalier. On the whole, our poetic culture is much more broad than it has been in English history. Even within the Postmodern aesthetic, which is the leading aesthetic of our era, there are nuances that set poets apart from each other and even schools within the broader school. So, no, I wouldn't say that there are very many "one-dimensional" journals today. Certainly not yours.

Thanks for the kind words. I work on continuous improvement. If you haven't refreshed your toolbar then I encourage you to do so. I've added some features and continue to improve that as well. And will soon have another book review in your hands. :-)

Hey Allen--

I just saw this -- Megan found the referral. I guess Weiss was just flashing a bit of that self-centered wit, but I prefer to ponder reality. Anyway, have you seen the issue yet? I'd be happy to send you a copy, you can see if you agree. My main complaint about Weiss isn't that he tends to bloviate and on obfuscate, but rather that he just doesn't seem accurate. If we are one-dimensional, that's a critique I'd take very seriously...I just don't believe him. I wouldn't mind hearing your opinion.

By the way, I really like the new layout of your website -- it's been a few weeks since I've visited, and I have to say it's a great improvement. Good job!
